After she disappeared, Spanish officials launched a search operation that lasted several days.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-6\">\n<div id=\"cmfrtzn.com_responsive_3\" data-google-query-id=\"\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/23293390090\/cmfrtzn.com\/cmfrtzn.com_responsive_3_0__container__\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Investigators eventually located her remains at the Zurita environmental complex, an area that had already been under active search. Officials have not released information about the cause of death or the exact circumstances of her disappearance.<\/p>\n<p>However, the Spanish Civil Guard\u2019s Judicial Police unit in Las Palmas arrested the woman\u2019s 22-year-old son on suspicion of murder, according to reports.<\/p>\n<p>Her remains have since been removed from the site and transferred for examination.
