Georgia O\u2019Connor, a talented British boxer, has died at 25 after a heartbreaking battle with cancer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A gold medalist at the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games and a rising star, Georgia revealed in January that she had cancer and ulcerative colitis. She shared her frustration online, saying doctors had\u00a0ignored her symptoms for 17 weeks<\/strong>, despite her constant pain and pleas for tests.<\/p>\n

She claimed her concerns were dismissed and even gaslit by medical professionals, calling out the NHS for its failings. By the time she was diagnosed, the cancer had spread, and doctors also found dangerous blood clots in her lungs.<\/p>\n

In a tragic twist, Georgia also revealed she had suffered a miscarriage and was given a terminal diagnosis on her 25th birthday.<\/p>\n

Despite it all, she remained strong and positive, recently marrying her partner Adriano just two weeks before her passing. Her final post read: \u201cThe day I married the love of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tributes have poured in. Promoter Boxxer called her a \u201ctrue warrior,\u201d and longtime friend Ellie Scotney described her as \u201cthe most beautiful human.\u201d England Boxing remembered her as a \u201cgifted and beloved member\u201d of the sport.<\/p>\n
