A man has broken his silence nearly two decades after delivering a chilling testimony as a child against his biological mother, who was convicted of murdering his sister.<\/strong><\/p>\n

AJ Hutto was just seven years old when he took the stand in a Florida courtroom in 2008, recounting the moment he saw his mother, Amanda Lewis, drown his seven-year-old sister, Adrianna, in their backyard swimming pool.<\/p>\n

Now 24, AJ \u2013 whose real name has been changed for his protection \u2013 has spoken publicly for the first time since the trial, telling The Daily Mail: \u201cOne hundred percent guilty. I stand by every word I said.\u201d<\/p>\n

His testimony, along with a child\u2019s drawing he presented in court, became key evidence in the case,\u00a0The Daily Mail<\/a>\u00a0detailed. The image showed three figures by the pool and was accompanied by AJ\u2019s handwritten words, \u201cShe did\u201d and \u201cTo Bad,\u201d which he explained meant \u201cshe died\u201d and \u201cit was scary.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the trial, AJ described how his \u201cmomma\u201d had held Adrianna\u2019s head underwater, adding: \u201cShe was putting her hand over her face.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite his young age, Judge Allen Register ruled AJ was a competent witness. While some critics suggested the child may have been influenced by prosecutors, AJ maintains his account was his own.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t believe I was coached or anything like that,\u201d he said. \u201cI just told them exactly what I saw, word for word.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amanda Lewis was convicted of first-degree murder and child abuse, receiving a life sentence without the possibility of parole plus an additional 30 years. She has consistently maintained her innocence, claiming Adrianna accidentally fell into the pool. At the time, authorities initially believed it may have been a tragic\u00a0accident<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 until AJ\u2019s testimony and autopsy findings raised red flags.<\/p>\n

The autopsy revealed bruising on Adrianna\u2019s face that resembled a handprint, and AJ told police during a recorded interview that \u201cMama dunked my sister\u201d after becoming angry with her for spraying glass cleaner in the house.<\/p>\n

Investigators also reported that the\u00a0family<\/a>\u00a0home was in poor condition, with minimal toys or resources for the children.<\/p>\n

After the trial, AJ was adopted and has since built a new life \u2013 he\u2019s now a\u00a0firefighter<\/a>, married, and has had no contact with Lewis. He also chooses not to refer to her as his\u00a0mother<\/a>.<\/p>\n
