Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pulled Archie and Lilibet out of their UK school after just two days. They cited security issues, however. One expert isn\u2019t so sure. Now, two royal experts accuse Harry and Meghan of pulling their kids from school for a whole different reason: to get money<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have sparked plenty of reactions over the school choices for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.<\/p>\n

Before leaving their Montecito, California, home, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had already enrolled their children at a new school. However, they have kept the name and location private.<\/p>\n

But just two days after the children started, everything changed. The Duke and Duchess decided to move Archie and Lilibet to another school because of security concerns.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the couple said they made the decision \u201cfollowing a discussion with the family\u2019s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family. This decision should in no way be interpreted as a reflection on the school or the exceptional care the children have received there,\u201d the spokesperson added.<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t take long for the issues Harry and Meghan felt they experienced to become clear.<\/p>\n

Later reports claimed that Harry and Meghan traveled to the school in a four-car convoy. The journey reportedly took around an hour each way, and with heavy traffic during school drop-off and pick-up times, the trip became too time-consuming.<\/p>\n

There were also reports of an incident involving the convoy, which was reportedly split up during the school run. The disruption allegedly left the cars \u201clike sitting ducks\u201d on the road.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, sources told the Daily Mail that parents were surprised over Harry and Meghan\u2019s decision, especially because they thought the former royals would have known that it takes time to get to school.<\/p>\n

\u201cParents at the school are completely baffled. You don\u2019t need to be an expert to know how congested that area is. It\u2019s one of the worst places to drive in the UK,\u201d one source said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was obviously going to happen,\u201d another added.<\/p>\n

While security issues were said to be the cause, everyone isn\u2019t convinced that is the real reason. In fact, royal expert and biographer Robert Jobson now accuses Harry and Meghan of using their children as an excuse to get what they really want: tax-funded protection.<\/p>\n

The Sun reported that the decision to withdraw the children from the school came last night as the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) confirmed that Harry\u2019s security arrangements are being reviewed.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really sad that the kids are becoming the narrative here,\u201d JObson told The Sun<\/a>. \u201cThe parents don\u2019t really know what a school run is, because you just get up a little bit earlier. We\u2019re told it\u2019s a security issue. But it now transpires that it\u2019s more to do with the school run and a traffic issue.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been dressed up that this is a major security incident. I think it\u2019s more to do with an alarm clock and and them not getting up in time,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Royal expert Angela Levin agreed with Jobson, saying it\u2019s a way for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures to pay them \u201can awful alot of money\u201d from people who have \u201cearned their money, get their tax.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that Archie and Lilibet were used in the matter that they had to walk into class, \u201cstrong and brave,\u201d not knowing whether the other children would be kind to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cWas it drama day to pressure the government?\u201d<\/h2>\n

Moreover, she said, Archie and Lilibet had to worry about their prince and princess titles, and whether that could become a target for taunting. Angela Levin also claimed that Archie and Lilibet were taken out of their school in Montecito \u201cwithout anyone saying goodbye.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Prince Harry\u2019s security is being reviewed, it has also been announced that Meghan\u2019s will be, too. It\u2019s the first official review the couple have gotten since leaving royal life behind in 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd is there really a problem with a lot of traffic in the Cotswolds? Or was it drama day to pressure the government into providing 24\/7 security paid [for] by the public while they do nothing in return?\u201d Levin asked, speaking to The Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n
