A lip reader claims Donald Trump made a five-word comment while riding in his car shortly after Xi Jinping wrapped up his three-day state visit to Washington.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lip reader Nicola Hickling told The Mirror US<\/a> that Trump made the remark from the back seat of his car right after Xi Jinping\u2019s visit ended.<\/p>\n

According to Hickling, the five words in question were, \u201cWe had a few arguments,\u201d a remark she says paints a very different picture from the polished, ceremonial version of the visit shown on camera.<\/p>\n

She claims Trump didn\u2019t stop there either, going on to say Xi \u201cis definitely going to change things. I know that,\u201d before adding that the Chinese leader \u201cknows there\u2019s no deal if he doesn\u2019t carry out what was said, but I have faith in him.\u201d<\/p>\n

A gift that didn\u2019t get returned<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The comment comes right after another notable moment from the trip. Trump gave Xi a statue of a bald eagle perched on a branch, saying he\u2019d designed it with Melania and an American artist. Xi reportedly didn\u2019t give anything back.<\/p>\n

Xi and his wife, Madame Peng Liyuan, were greeted by Trump and Melania at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland with a red carpet, an armed military squadron, the national anthem, a B-1 Lancer flying overhead.<\/p>\n

The next day, while the first ladies toured museums together, Trump and Xi held closed-door talks at the White House, then met again that evening for a state dinner.<\/p>\n

Several top tech CEOs showed up, and protesters gathered outside too, their chants occasionally cutting through the music.<\/p>\n

It was during that dinner that Trump leaned in and whispered something to Xi, something that seemed to amuse him, he laughed briefly before they both pulled it together for photos.<\/p>\n

A trade deal extension, confirmed<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Beyond the photo-ops, the visit did have real substance.<\/p>\n

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed on Fox News that both countries agreed to extend their trade arrangement, lowering tariffs and holding off on new trade barriers.<\/p>\n
