ritain\u2019s Got Fringe!\u00a0Singing sensation\u00a0Susan Boyle, who became a worldwide phenomenon after\u00a0her viral audition for\u00a0Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/em>\u00a0in 2009, just debuted a gorgeous straight-hair look, and she\u2019s almost unrecognizable. The Scottish singer had grey hair when she first took the\u00a0BGT<\/em>\u00a0stage; then, she dyed it a rich chocolate brown for the first part of her career.<\/p>\n

Stepping out for the\u00a0Pride of Britain Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on October 20, the Blackpool native showed off a honey blonde bob and wispy bangs. For the occasion, she wore an ink-painting patterned dress, pearl jewelry, red nails, and carried a black clutch.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat a wonderful evening at the Pride of Britain Awards!\u00a0\"\ud83d\udc96\"\u00a0It was such an honour to celebrate so many truly inspiring people. Susan Boyle is preparing a return to music for her bombshell era<\/h2>\n

Boyle revealed in 2023 that,\u00a0in April 2022, she suffered a stroke\u00a0and had to work to get her speech and motor skills back in order to perform again. In a 2024 interview with\u00a0Daily Mail<\/em>, Boyle revealed, \u201cI\u2019m back alright. I\u2019m feeling OK and ready to go\u2026I had a major stroke and I\u2019ve had to fight my way back. It\u2019s taken me three years and it\u2019s been hard \u2014 I\u2019m not going to pretend otherwise \u2014 but it\u2019s made me determined to keep going.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since then, she\u2019s made more progress and announced some exciting updates: She\u2019s once again in the studio and planning a full return to music. In April 2025, she\u00a0shared via her social media, \u201cI\u2019m back and working on some wonderful new projects that I can\u2019t wait for you to hear about!\u00a0\"\u2728\"More news will be coming very soon, but I just wanted to say how much I\u2019ve missed you all. Your support means the world to me, and I\u2019m more determined and excited than ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

I made my return to the recording studio for the first time in six years, something I was told I might never achieve again. But here we are, in my happy place!
