Trump\u00a0ally Charlie Kirk<\/a>\u00a0has been shot.<\/p>\n

Kirk, an activist and the founder of conservative student group Turning Point USA, was shot at an event in Utah while surrounded by hundreds of supporters.<\/p>\n

Footage online shows those people running for safety after he was reportedly shot in the neck.<\/p>\n

Kirk, who has garnered millions of fans and co-founded Turning Point USA, instantly slumped to the side as blood poured from his neck.<\/p>\n

Just before the shooting, Kirk, who was close with Kyle Rittenhouse, posted about an event at the university. \u201cUtah Valley University is FIRED UP and READY for the first stop back on the American Comeback Tour,\u201d Charlie Kirk wrote in a post on X.<\/p>\n

Shortly after the video showed Kirk being shot, an elderly white male could be seen on his knees being arrested as the alleged shooter. His name has not been released.<\/p>\n
