Chinese-born 16-year-old Xueli Abbing was abandoned by her parents. She was left at an orphanage door because she was thought to be too \u201cweird.\u201d<\/p>\n

She was given the name \u201cXueli\u201d by the staff of the orphanage, which had a very unique connotation associated with her beauty. Xue is as white as snow, and Li is stunning. I can\u2019t think of a name for this adorable infant who was born with albinism.<\/p>\n

A genetic condition known as albinism results in the skin, hair, and eyes producing less melanin, making them pale or colorless.<\/p>\n

She was adopted by a loving Dutch family, who raised her with love and care. When she was barely 11 years old, she was asked to pose for a designer in Hong Kong for a photo shoot where he wanted to highlight the numerous types of beauty.<\/p>\n

In an interview with the BBC, Abbing remarked, \u201cShe termed the ad \u2018perfect imperfections\u2019 and asked if I wanted to join her fashion show in Hong Kong.It was a fantastic experience.<\/p>\n

Based on both their race and skin tone, albinos are prone to stigmatization, prejudice, and discrimination. Due to the fabled medicinal benefits of their bones, they might even be \u201chunted\u201d in some severe situations.<\/p>\n

Abbing has remarked, \u201cI\u2019m lucky I was only abandoned.\u201d<\/p>\n

When albino models are employed to portray angels or ghosts, Abbing says that \u201cit makes her sad.\u201d<\/p>\n

But there was a lucky star over Abbing\u2019s head. But she did put a lot of effort into it.<\/p>\n

A London-based photographer took her under his wing and treated her how a model should be treated. Her appearance in the June 2019 issue of Vogue Italia was made possible by their stunning photo shoot!<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the time, I didn\u2019t know what an important magazine it was and it took me a while to realize why people got so excited about it,\u201d\u00a0recalls.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are still models who are like eight foot two and skinny but now people with disabilities or differences are featured more in the media and this is great \u2013 but it should be normal,\u201d\u00a0she said in the interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe because I cannot see everything properly I focus more on people\u2019s voices and what they have to say,\u201d\u00a0she\u00a0said.\u00a0\u201cSo their\u00a0inner beauty is more important\u00a0to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

She hopes to alter how people perceive those who are albino.In order to raise awareness of albinism and to emphasize that it is a hereditary illness rather than a curse, she wants to use modeling.Since being \u201can albino\u201d implies that you are defined by your albinism, it is preferable to refer to the subject as \u201ca person with albinism.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI won\u2019t consent to the idea that children are being killed because they are albinos. She declared, \u201cI want to transform the world.<\/p>\n

We wish the future travels of the snow-white beauty nothing but the best! And we do hope she changes how others perceive those who are albino.<\/p>\n
