F\u00e1tima Bosch is competing in this year\u2019s pageant, and she reportedly did not participate in a photoshoot that the contestants were expected to promote on their social media. The shoot was intended to showcase Thailand.<\/p>\n
In his speech, Itsaragrisil claimed that Bosch did not take part in the shoot due to instructions from her country\u2019s pageant director.<\/p>\n
Bosch reportedly refuted this, during which Itsaragrisil seemingly interrupted her and inquired whether she intended to post about Thailand on her social media platforms.<\/p>\n
At one point during the speech, Itsaragrisil referred to Bosch as a \u2018dummy,\u2019 which disturbed other contestants present in the room.<\/p>\n
While being reprimanded by him, Bosch maintained her composure and awaited her opportunity to speak. In response, Itsaragrisil remarked, \u201cI still keep talking to everybody, why you still stand up to talk to me?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause I have a voice,\u201d the Mexican contestant replied. She further stated, \u201cYou are not respecting me as a woman.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the two exchanged words for a few minutes, Itsaragrisil called for security, prompting the other women in the room to respond with a collective \u2018no\u2019 in disagreement.<\/p>\n
As she exited the room, Itsaragrisil made a parting remark, stating, \u201cAs women, you need to show respect for us. I\u2019m here representing a country, and it\u2019s not my fault that you have issues with my organization.\u201d<\/p>\n
A few other contestants followed Bosch out, including the reigning Miss Universe, Victoria Kj\u00e6r Theilvig, who is also believed to have left.<\/p>\n
A small group of contestants then stood up and followed Bosch out. Among those who chose to leave was the current Miss Universe, Victoria Kj\u00e6r Theilvig.<\/p>\n
However, Itsaragrisil urged them to halt and informed them that if they wished to continue in the contest, they should take their seats.<\/p>\n
Miss Bonaire then spoke up, asking Itsaragrisil to bring Miss Mexico back.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe can resolve this. We can bring her back,\u201d she was heard saying, trying to maintain harmony. \u201cWe\u2019re having such a wonderful time in Thailand. This is an amazing place. You\u2019re doing everything right. Let\u2019s get her to return.\u201d<\/p>\n
Since then, Itsaragrisil has apologized on social media regarding the incident.<\/p>\n
In a video he shared, he stated: \u201cIf anyone [was] feeling unwell, if anyone [was] uncomfortable, if anyone [was] affected, I sincerely apologize to everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also mentioned that he expressed his apologies to the women present at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n
