Recently, this was evident when Prince William made a choice that brought Kate Middleton a lot of joy. However, it wasn\u2019t just Kate who felt upset; the children were also affected by the news.<\/p>\n

The cancer diagnosis has undoubtedly posed significant challenges for the whole family. This situation unfolded while Kate was in the hospital for 13 days following her abdominal surgery. At the same time, King Charles received his cancer diagnosis, which was subsequently announced by the palace.<\/p>\n

During that period, Kate also found out that she had cancer. After much speculation, she bravely shared the news in a video posted on social media.<\/p>\n

She mentioned: \u201cIn January, I had major abdominal surgery in London, and initially, it was believed that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery went well; however, post-operative tests revealed the presence of cancer. Consequently, my medical team recommended that I undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy, and I am currently in the early stages of that treatment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was, of course, a tremendous shock, and William and I have been doing everything possible to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. As you can imagine, this has required time. It took me time to recover from the major surgery before starting my treatment. Most importantly, we needed time to explain everything to George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way that they could understand and to reassure them that I\u2019m going to be okay.\u201d<\/p>\n

There has been considerable discussion regarding royal responsibilities and the extent to which everyone can contribute during this time. This includes Prince William\u2019s decision to return to royal duties about a month after the announcement of the cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n

As part of his royal duties, he would need to travel to various locations for visits. According to one source, they are managing well despite the challenges they are facing. This includes a specific issue related to a travel decision made by Prince William.<\/p>\n

Even though he had only been on royal duty for about a month and his wife was diagnosed with cancer, he chose to make a trip to the Isles of Sicily. Normally, she would have accompanied him, but she was unable to do so.<\/p>\n

Kate and the children were not entirely supportive of his choice to make travel arrangements at this time. It seems he upset his wife and the kids, as they were at home without him.<\/p>\n

William mentioned: \u201cMy family is quite upset that I\u2019m here without them. The kids will be furious if I don\u2019t return home later.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cI\u2019m sure Catherine\u2019s parents will be with her, but still, it\u2019s a positive move.
