During an appearance on\u00a0The Weekend: Primetime<\/em>\u00a0on MSNBC, O\u2019Brien\u2014senior executive editor at\u00a0Bloomberg Opinion<\/em>\u2014delved into Trump\u2019s recent controversial remarks hinting at a potential third term, despite the clear constitutional limit of two. The analyst, a longtime Trump biographer and critic, offered a candid breakdown of what might\u00a0really<\/em>\u00a0be driving the 78-year-old Republican frontrunner.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019d love to live until he\u2019s 300,\u201d O\u2019Brien said. \u201cAnd he\u2019d probably like to be president for 200 of those years.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But O\u2019Brien emphasized that Trump isn\u2019t immune to aging. In fact, he noted, physical decline may be one of the greatest barriers standing between the former president and another stint in the Oval Office.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat struck me, watching that clip, was just how much Donald Trump has aged,\u201d he said. \u201cYes, there are voters and the 22nd Amendment, but there\u2019s also the reality that he turns 79 in June.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI question how much genuine enthusiasm he has left for the job\u2014beyond the fact that it keeps him out of prison and in the spotlight.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Even Trump\u2019s own relatives have begun to raise concerns. His nephew, Fred C. Trump III, spoke to\u00a0People<\/em>\u00a0last year, saying the changes in his uncle feel eerily familiar.<\/p>\n
