I mostly just wanted to be a typical child, especially when my mother passed away.<\/p>\n<p>The young girl was worn out and claims that she was \u201cthe most unhappy\u201d when she was \u201cvery famous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She reluctantly played her final significant role in the 2000 fantasy adventure movie Thomas and the Magic Railroad when she was eleven years old. \u201cThey were too youthful personalities. I reacted viscerally to [the] script when I was eleven.I thought, ugh. She told the Guardian, \u201cHow adorable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBurnt out\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her decision to leave Hollywood wasn\u2019t the only one, though.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson was a young adolescent going through puberty and outgrowing the \u201ccute,\u201d so the roles weren\u2019t coming in.<\/p>\n<div class=\"google-auto-placed ap_container\"><\/div>\n<p>Her bra strap was always visible, and she was described as \u201cjust another weird, nerdy, loud girl with bad teeth and bad hair.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I was 13, nobody had referred to me as cute or complimented my appearance in years, at least not in a good way,\u201d she claims.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson had to cope with the demands of celebrity and the difficulties of growing up in the spotlight.
