Blake Shelton penned an emotional remembrance of his friend Joe Bonsall upon his passing.<\/p>\n

From 1973 to 2024, Joe was a member of The Oak Ridge Boys, a country and gospel group.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Blake, 48, posted a photo of himself performing live with The Oak Ridge Boys.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear exactly when and where the photo was taken.<\/p>\n


\nHe posted, \u201cI\u2019m heartbroken to hear of my friend Joe Bonsall\u2019s death,\u201d on his Instagram Stories.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have never seen Joe without a smile on his face and a genuine smile on his face.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe loved singing more than anyone I\u2019ve ever met,\u201d Blake continued.<\/p>\n

His brothers at @theoakridgeboys and his family are in my prayers. We have all lost someone significant today.<\/p>\n

Blake and The Oak Ridge Boys released the song \u201cDoing It to Country Songs\u201d in 2016.<\/p>\n

The band\u2019s most well-known tunes include \u201cElvira,\u201d \u201cCome On In,\u201d \u201cLeaving Louisiana In The Broad Daylight,\u201d and \u201cBobbie Sue.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Oak Ridge Boys were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2015 following their five Grammy Awards.<\/p>\n
