The world can appear incredibly cruel to those of us who don\u2019t fit the stereotyped \u201cperfect\u201d pattern when total strangers feel compelled to judge someone solely based on how they appear on social media.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The only person more knowledgeable about this is Karine de Souza. Due to her odd skin condition, the Brazilian woman has spent her entire life using SPF100 sunscreens on her skin, even inside.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Due to her Xeroderma Pigmentosum illness, the 33-year-old is at a very high risk of getting skin cancer.<\/p>\n

She is extremely sensitive to UV rays because of her \u201cone-in-a-million\u201d ailment, which is incurable and prevents her from being able to repair whatever skin damage the sun may have done.<\/p>\n

She can get a sunburn that is excruciatingly painful after only a few minutes in the sun. Because it was too risky for her to spend a lot of time outside her home as a child, she was frequently cut off from the outside world.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t feel anything when I expose myself to the light; it doesn\u2019t happen immediately. The lesions do, however, later develop and require removal due to malignancy, she said.<\/p>\n

Karine has endured 130 surgical procedures to get rid of sunburns, including having her bottom lip and a part of her nose amputated.<\/p>\n

She has to overcome more than just a physical struggle, though. Karine has experienced verbal abuse both online and offline and frequently gets unusual looks while crossing the street.<\/p>\n

Even though she has fallen in love, she still has a good attitude on life.<\/p>\n

Through social networking, she met her husband Edmilson, who was captivated by her \u201cstory and her strength.\u201d Since Edmilson has always supported Karine, he is certain that he wants to live out the rest of his days with her.<\/p>\n

He also chose to include the three kids from Karine\u2019s former marriage, which naturally meant a lot to Karine.<\/p>\n

She claims that \u201che came and he showed me that I could live a true love story.\u201d<\/p>\n

But after sharing pictures of the two of them online, Karine was once more the target of a barrage of derogatory remarks.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail, Karine stated, \u201cWe have already read many offensive comments calling me a monster, deformed, or a zombie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other remarks implied that their romance wasn\u2019t real, Karine was a \u201csugar mommy,\u201d and that she must be incredibly wealthy.<\/p>\n

People were drawn to him because he is young and attractive, and they didn\u2019t think he would be with me since he really liked me, Karine added.<\/p>\n

A photographer who photographed the pair after their engagement uploaded some of the photos online with the following caption:<\/p>\n

\u201cIn a society where outward appearances are more important than inner feelings, they did not meet by accident; rather, a gathering of souls resulted in an encounter of acceptance, character, and love. Today, you are an inspiration to so many people who lack faith in themselves, in life, and especially in love.<\/p>\n

\u201cI appreciate you being who you are every day. STOP whining about how you are what you are. Accept life and yourself with a HUG. Thank you very much for teaching me so much. You two are incredible. For so many individuals, you represent the lost hope. I appreciate the warm embrace as well as the fantastic day we shared. I\u2019ll always keep your smile in mind.<\/p>\n

Thousands of people reacted on his sincere words and stunning pictures he took of Karine and Edmilson, congratulating the pair.<\/p>\n

Karine wants others to understand how important being optimistic is.<\/p>\n

She advised, \u201cBe joyful and smile because life only comes around once.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2023, Karine and Edmlson joyfully welcomed a baby daughter into the world. Karine and her husband had been trying to conceive since 2020, so Zaia was a much-anticipated addition to their family.<\/p>\n

Despite the hardships Karine has faced, her positive approach has enabled her to discover the happiness she so richly deserves.<\/p>\n
