In recent weeks, it has become clear that Meghan Markle can’t even blink without it becoming a topic of prime-time discussion.
From whispers in warehouses about her lifestyle brand to jabs on reality TV in Beverly Hills, the Duchess of Sussex is facing a wave of unrelenting ridicule — and this time, it’s coming from both sides of the ocean.
Brutally mocked live
The latest uproar started on Sky News Australia, where host Caleb Bond launched a scathing critique of Meghan’s lifestyle project, As Ever. During the segment, Bond was unreserved in his comments.
“If you’ve seen that series she released on Netflix, With Love, Meghan, you probably haven’t actually watched it. Don’t bother, I gave it a shot just to let you know it’s a complete waste of time.”
He continued to deride the show’s concept and her product line, stating:
“But she presents herself in a house she claims is hers, which isn’t her actual home, making jam and various other things. She’s been trying to sell them, but it seems nobody is interested in buying the jam, and there are huge quantities of it stored at Netflix HQ, where staff are reportedly helping themselves.”
According to reports mentioned during the broadcast, as many as 137,465 jars of jam were supposedly sitting in storage, with employees allegedly taking some for themselves.

Reports indicated that in addition to the jam, candles, wine, and her signature flower sprinkles were also being kept at Netflix’s Hollywood campus, with one insider stating:
“It seems there are two storage rooms filled with As Ever products. They’re literally just handing it out to employees. One staff member left with 10 items for free.”
Another source bluntly remarked: “There’s an overwhelming amount of overstock.”
What makes this story even more striking is that when As Ever debuted in April 2025, the initial collection — which included raspberry jam and wildflower honey — reportedly sold out in just an hour. At that time, headlines celebrated products “flying off the shelves.” Now, critics claim that the initial excitement has faded.
Reality TV drama in Beverly Hills
As if that wasn’t enough, Meghan’s 2021 remarks about not researching the Royal Family have resurfaced — this time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In a recent episode, actress Jennifer Tilly mentioned Meghan while defending her own practice of Googling people.
“I googled Amanda (Frances), just like I googled everyone else in the group. I know all about Amanda’s history. It’s all available; it’s on Reddit. It’s everywhere.”
Then came the line that sparked a social media frenzy:
“Even those in the group who claim, ‘Oh, I never Google anyone,’ we all Google everyone. It’s like Meghan Markle saying, ‘I never Googled Prince Harry before I started dating him,’ come on Meghan.”
This comment was a direct reference to Meghan’s now-famous 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, where she stated: “I didn’t do any research about what that would entail. I didn’t feel the need to, because everything I needed to know, he was sharing with me. Everything we thought…”

Her spouse, Prince Harry, later came to her defense in his memoir Spare, even reminiscing about a time when she confused his uncle with Queen Elizabeth’s assistant — humorously stating:
“She definitely hadn’t googled us.”
Amidst allegations of excessive jam and being referenced on U.S. reality shows, Meghan has endured a continuous stream of public teasing.
Whether the news regarding her brand indicates a true decline in sales or merely the typical whirlwind of royal-related drama, one fact is undeniable: the Duchess continues to be a focal point of attention. Every product release, interview remark, and television reference turns into immediate discussion.
