Alper Yesiltas, a photographer and lawyer from Istanbul, has been crafting digital art for many years. His newest endeavor employs artificial intelligence to envision how celebrities would look today if they were still alive.
This series, titled “As If Nothing Happened,” features Diana alongside other legends like Michael Jackson, John Lennon, and Elvis Presley.
In an interview, he shared: “When I began experimenting with the technology, I realized the possibilities and thought about what would bring me joy: I wanted to see some of the people I missed back in front of me.”
The portrayal of Diana is captivating. She appears serene, stunning, and regal, embodying the same warmth that endeared her to so many.
Diana was born into British nobility and married King Charles in 1981. She was adored by the public, but their marriage faced challenges, leading to their divorce in 1996. Tragically, she lost her life in a car accident in Paris a year later.
Had she lived, she would have celebrated her 61st birthday in 2022. Many speculate that she could have played a role in mending her sons’ relationship and would have had the chance to meet Kate, Meghan, and all five of her grandchildren.
