While at the salon, Falcetti says she and her receptionist were laughing around and decided to film a TikTok featuring Frankie. “We put a salon cape on her just for laughs,” she explains. “One of our extension clients kindly let us borrow some hair, and from there the idea just took off.”
In the now-viral video, Frankie sits upright in a salon chair as her mom attaches hair extensions to the back of her head. Falcetti then places a beanie on Frankie so it looks like the long extensions are her real hair, zooming in on the baby’s fascinated expression. Moments later, Frankie breaks into a smile and starts clapping, clearly delighted by the attention.
The clip was captioned: “Fresh new pair of 22s for tha babyyy #beingagirlisfun.”
Falcetti admits she hoped the video might help bring some visibility to her small business. “We thought, who doesn’t love adorable baby content?” she says. “It was totally spontaneous, but it felt playful and harmless at the time.”
According to Falcetti, Frankie is an especially calm and easygoing baby. As the youngest of four, she was “just along for the ride and enjoying all the attention.”
“She sat perfectly, loved watching herself in the mirror, and was genuinely interested in what we were doing,” Falcetti adds.
