A 12-year-old girl tragically collapsed and passed away last week after an incident involving another student on a school bus.

As per heartbreaking reports, Jada West, a student at Mason Creek Middle School in Georgia, collapsed shortly after getting off the bus near her home in Villa Rica.

It is reported that she had been in an argument with another girl on the bus, which escalated into a physical fight once they got off. Video footage of the altercation was acquired by media outlets in the US, showing West and another girl engaged in a fight on the street.

While the cause of the conflict remains unclear, Jada collapsed while walking home after the confrontation had concluded.

One of Jada’s friends ran to her house to alert her parents that she had collapsed. She was initially taken to Tanner Medical Center before being transferred to Scottish Rite.

“I can’t comprehend this. She was on the ground, and she wasn’t breathing,” said West’s mother, Rashuna McLendon, in an interview with Fox 5 Atlanta.

“I’m incredibly upset. We need to instill love in our children.”

Unfortunately, Jada lost her life due to her injuries, and an autopsy is scheduled to ascertain the cause of her death.

West’s family has disclosed that she was a newcomer at Mason Creek Middle School and has also alleged that she experienced bullying.

“We are simply seeking justice for my niece,” West’s aunt expressed. “This must come to an end. We will continue to honor Jada West’s name.”
